Deleting your account

Deleting your account takes two taps and asks twice.

You can do it yourself, from inside the app, without asking us. If the phone is gone, we will do it by hand. Last updated 10 October 2026.

  • Settings, then Delete account

Two confirmations, then it is done. No waiting period.

  • It is immediate

Nothing is queued, and nothing is kept to undo it with.

  • The notes go for both of you

One shared history between two people, deleted once.

  • No phone, no problem

Write to us and we will do it by hand within thirty days.

Deleting it yourself

  1. Open Us on the phone your account is on.
  2. Tap the settings icon, at the top right of the home screen.
  3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete account.
  4. It asks twice. The second one is the point of no return.

Deletion happens while you wait. There is no grace period, no queue and no thirty-day window in which it could be undone, because we keep no copy to undo it from.

Asking us instead

If the phone is lost, broken or wiped, the button is out of reach — your account lives on that device and nowhere else, so there is no second place to sign in and press it.

Write to us@siriuslabs.in from any address. Tell us the name you used in the app and the name of the person you were paired with, which is what lets us find the right account without an email address on file. We do it by hand, within thirty days, and we write back when it is done.

What is deleted

Your account, the name you chose and the user ID behind it. Your sign-in token and every device registered to you, which is what stops the notifications. Any pairing code you had outstanding.

Every note in your shared history, and every photo and drawing sent with one. These belong to the pair rather than to you, so they go for both of you at once — the same as disconnecting, and for the same reason.

The pairing itself. The other person keeps their account and their name; what they lose is the history between you, and their widget goes back to saying it is not connected.

If you were paying, the subscription is cancelled at Razorpay first, and then our record of it goes with everything else — what was charged, when, and the link to each receipt.

What is kept, and for how long

Of yours, nothing. There is no archive, no soft delete and no retention window after the fact: the rows are gone in a single transaction and we hold no backup that could bring them back.

Razorpay keeps its own record of any payment you made, for as long as the law that governs a payment processor requires. That is their copy and always was — the card never reached us, so it is not ours to delete.

The other person's account survives, because it is theirs. Their name and their device are their own data, not a copy of yours.

Deleting the notes but keeping the account

If it is the history you want gone rather than the account, open Settings and tap Disconnect. It ends the pairing and deletes every note and picture between you, for both of you, and leaves both accounts standing.

Either of you can do it, at any time, without the other agreeing to it. The app puts you back on the Connect screen, ready to pair again — with the same person or with someone else.

If you cannot reach the button

Write to us@siriuslabs.in. If you want to know what we hold in the first place, the privacy page is the longer answer.
